Prior to 1922 The Lake House was a family business selling flour and meal to local farmers and a family home. FORMER DANCE HALL
From the mid 1940's this was the place to be seen. The dance hall operated as a dance hall until 1975. The original sprung maple floor still remains in this 12.9.1 sq m (1,390 sq.ft approx) building which is set on the shores of the Cloonee Lakes. The dance hall is now used to host local community events.
This was built in the 1950's as a tea room for the dance hall. This pretty building is set on the shores of the Cloonee Lakes and is currently used as a tea room for fishing competitions.
